Settings
Change your password, check your plan, download a backup of your data, close your account, or tell us when something breaks.
Settings holds account-level controls. Edit career content in Nexus or Studio, not here.
Open Settings from the sidebar. Tabs: Security, Plan, and Report an issue.
Security tab
Change password
- Open Settings → Security.
- Enter Current password, New password, and Confirm password.
- Choose Update password.
Passwords must match in the new and confirm fields. Use the new password on your next sign-in.
Export your data
- In the Account export card, read what is included.
- Choose Export data.
The download is a JSON file named with the export date. It includes profile details, career records, CVs, labels, and settings. Uploaded files are listed by filename only—the binary files are not included in the export.
Download an export before major account changes if you want a personal backup.
Delete your account
Deletion is permanent.
- In the Delete account card, choose Delete account.
- Enter your password.
- Type
DELETEin the confirmation field. - Confirm in the modal.
Alynd removes account data and signs you out. To remove a single work record or CV, delete it in Nexus or Studio instead.
Plan tab
Open Plan to view subscription and billing details in Subscription & billing. Use this tab to check your current plan or follow in-app billing actions. Contact support if you need help not shown in the panel.
Report an issue
- Open Report an issue.
- Fill Page URL (defaults to the current page if left blank).
- Set Severity (1–10) — 1 = minor; 10 = data loss or broken workflow.
- Enter a Description with steps to reproduce.
- Choose Submit report.
For sign-in failures, export errors, or data-loss risk, use high severity and describe impact clearly.
