Nexus - Profile

Your name, title, summary, contact details, and links — the information new CVs start from and employers see first.

Your Profile supplies default personal information for new Studio CVs and gives Lyra useful context. Update it before creating or exporting important CVs.

Set professional title and summary

Use the title for the identity new CVs should start from—for example "Product Manager" or "Data Analyst".

The summary is a reusable baseline, not a perfect match for every job. Studio can hold a CV-specific summary; Nexus keeps the general version.

A strong summary usually includes:

  • Role or specialism.
  • Domains or environments you work in.
  • Evidence of seniority, scope, or impact.
  • What you do distinctively well.

Set location and currency

  • Location — shown on profile and can appear on CVs depending on Studio formatting.
  • Currency — symbol used when entering salary on work records. Set currency before adding compensation.

Each link needs a label and URL. Empty rows are ignored on save.

Label exampleTypical URL
LinkedInProfile URL
PortfolioSite or case-study page
GitHubRepository or profile
PublicationsIndex or journal page

Studio controls which links appear on each CV.

Save and verify

  1. Choose Save after editing.
  2. Open a recent Studio CV and confirm header, summary, and links if you changed them.

Existing CVs may keep document-specific wording until you edit them in the Studio editor.
