Nexus - Education
Record degrees, courses, and academic projects when they strengthen your applications — from a single qualification line to full year-by-year detail.
Use Education for formal study: degrees, diplomas, certificates, school records, bootcamps, or structured programmes.
Add a qualification
- Choose Add record (or open an existing education record).
- Enter institution, degree, field of study, and start date (required).
- Add location, end date (or mark as current), and grade or GPA if relevant.
- Save before adding academic years or importing from a URL.
Decide how much detail to add
| Situation | Recommendation |
|---|---|
| Early career; coursework is evidence | Add academic years with modules and projects |
| Technical, regulated, or academic targets | Include labs, placements, achievements |
| Older or low-relevance qualification | Basic record may be enough |
Use academic years
Academic years group detail by stage—for example "Year 1", "Final year", or "Placement year".
Within each year you can add courses (code, title, credits, grade), skills, achievements, coursework, projects, labs, and internships.
Import course details from a URL
After saving a record:
- Provide a course or programme page URL.
- Add optional notes about what to prioritise.
- For module-heavy programmes, allow more pages to be checked.
- Review the preview before applying.
Course pages may list optional modules, outdated content, or modules you did not take—verify before saving.
Keep education CV-ready
Ask for each qualification:
- Does this help explain my current direction?
- Should this appear on every CV or only some?
- Are grades or modules useful evidence for my target roles?
- Would a recruiter understand the qualification from the title alone?
Studio controls which education records and academic detail appear on each CV.
