Nexus - Professional
Certifications, awards, publications, licences, and similar items that belong on a CV but are not a job or a degree.
Professional records strengthen CVs but are not jobs or formal qualifications. Use this area for certifications, publications, awards, grants, memberships, licences, training, and presentations.
Choose the right section
| Section | Use it for |
|---|---|
| Certifications | Credentials, exams, vendor certificates, credential URLs |
| Publications | Articles, papers, books, reports |
| Awards | Prizes, recognition, honours, amounts where relevant |
| Grants | Funding awards, research or programme grants |
| Memberships | Professional bodies and associations |
| Licences | Regulated licences and registrations |
| Training | Courses not stored as formal education records |
| Presentations | Talks, panels, webinars, recorded sessions |
If an item could fit multiple sections, choose where a recruiter would expect to see it on a CV.
Add a record
- Open the correct Professional subsection.
- Choose Add record.
- Complete required fields for that type (title, issuer or organisation, dates, URLs or IDs as applicable).
- Add a short description when the title alone is unclear.
- Attach a file only when it adds value (certificate PDF, licence image, deck).
Publications are usually represented by URL rather than attachment.
Move a record between sections
If you used the wrong section, use move instead of delete-and-recreate. Alynd maps compatible fields where possible and prompts for any new required fields.
Review wording and dates after a move.
Use Professional records in Studio
Studio can show professional items as dedicated CV sections. Keep Nexus complete; hide or omit sections per CV in the Studio editor.
